| dc.description.abstract | This paper proposes a flux weakening control algorithm for synchronous reluctance machines based on parameters estimated at stand-still. The proposed method consists of two parts, the determination of the flux weakening region and the current reference modification. The flux weakening region can be determined by the angle between the constant torque direction and voltage decreasing direction. The current reference is modified by the magnitude of output voltage and the flux weakening direction considering flux saturation. As a result, the proposed method is more suitable for synchronous reluctance machines than existing flux weakening methods that assume inductances are constant. Experimental results verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. | - |
