Recently, a great deal of attention has been dedicated to design and preparation of metallic nanoparticles onto a substrate because of their wide range of applications such as surface-enhanced Raman scattering, catalysis and chemical sensors and so on. There are many routes for preparation metallic nanoparticles onto a substrate: self-assembly, electroless plating, layer by layer method, E-beam lithography and ultrasound irradiation. In this research, embedded Ag nanoparticles onto a porous substrate were prepared to make nanocomposite film. A porous substrate was fabricated by alkali surface modifi cation which generates microporous aluminum hydroxide layer using pure Al plate. During the synthesis of Ag nanoparticles in solution, the substrate was immersed and led to the in-situ dispersion of Ag nanoparticles onto the substrate surface. Microstructure and phase analysis were performed to characterize the Ag nanoparticles dispersed substrate. And the optical property of the fabricated Ag nanoparticles dispersed substrate was measured by UV-vis spectrophotometer.-
