dc.description.abstract | ZnO nanocrystals exhibit several crystal surfaces with different atomic configurations and polarities, which have a major influence on the physical and chemical properties of materials. Control of the surface is therefore a crucial factor in designing nanomaterials for various applications. Here we introduce surface polarity and shape-controlled synthesis of 1D ZnO nanostuctures on the top of micro-faceted GaN hillocks by metal-organic vapor phase epitaxy(MOVPE). | - |
