dc.description.abstract | SAPO-34(CHA structure)catalysts with a microporosity show a good selectivity to light olefins but are easily deactivated by coke deposition in methanol to olefins(MTO)process. Therefore, a Circulating Fluidized Bed(CFB) reactor is required in order to regenerate the deactivated catalyst. For the stable operation of CFB reactor, the shape, size and mechanical strength of the catalyst should be optimized. Thus, this study has tried to obtain the optimal spray-dried catalyst by using various clay, binders, and additives. We also have examined the attrition rate and physical properties of the catalysts by ASTM attrition test, N2 isotherm and SEM. | - |
