dc.description.abstractOrdered mesoporous carbon with high surface area of nano-rod type is synthesized via the template-directed synthesis mechanism using highly ordered mesoporous silica as templates. The synthesis mechanism involves the impregnation in pores of mesoporous silica with sucrose as carbon precursor, its polymerization via hydrothermal process, and its carbonization which was proceed to heating up to 900℃ in Ar condition. Finally, the silica template of carbonized particle was removed by NaOH or HF solution The resulting products were characterized by combined techniques including X-ray powder diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), high-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HR TEM), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET).-
