| dc.description.abstract | The filter which enables to filtrate and separate various impurities of exhausted gas has been expected to be applied to various devices. In this study, sintered porous Al-4wt.% Cu having macro pore structure was fabricated by powder metallurgy. The fabricated granulation particle has 45~500㎛ in diameter after ball-milling process with the composition of Al-4wt.% Cu. Subsequently, the powder mixtures were classified into particle size and the green body with the porosity of about 45% was fabricated by control of compacting pressure. Then, it was sintered at 605oC for 1h on N2 atmosphere. And,the formation of nanoporous surface on the macropore structure was performed in chemical solution for appropriate time with the sintered porous body. The nanoporous surface could be controlled through the surface modification to improve the dust removal characteristic of the metal filter. In this study, The macro/nano pore structure is necessary which is composed of a macropore network for high permeability and a nanoporous surface for advanced efficiency of filtration. | - |
