dc.description.abstract | Naphtha is one of the most important materials serving as a basic feed for the production of ethylene, benzene, toluene and xylene in petrochemical industries. The importance of naphtha in petrochemical industries inevitably requires an accurate and fast analytical method to determine its composition for the quality monitoring and process control when naphtha is used as a feed. Using NIR and RAMAN, naphtha can be analyzed very fast, but naphtha a consist of total paraffin, total naphthene and total aromatic content. So partial least squares (PLS) regression is needed owing to improve the data quality. If they are separated each other, better result is expected. Using melting point of many material properties, higher melting point material at some degree is solid as more dense and hazy. Therefore spectra are separated from each other. | - |
