| dc.description.abstract | Geometric structure of a protein is known as the primary factor which determines the functions of the protein. Therefore, one of the major considerations in the study of protein structure, 3D visualization tools are essential and getting more important. For this purpose, a web based visualization system for 3D protein structure is proposed. The developed system was implemented by JAVA and mainly has the following functions: display of 3D protein models from the data stored in DB, displays of the models using various colors and styles which represent biological meanings, and visualization of interaction interfaces among molecules and their chemical properties, which are important structure for protein analysis. | - |
