In this research, micron- and submicron-sized patterns of polydiacetylene liposome are fabricated on glass and titanium substrates using micromolding in capillaries (MIMIC). In MIMIC technique, the surface-patterned polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) slab is placed on the surface of a substrate; the patterned structure on the PDMS forms a network of empty channels. The patterned polydiacetylene liposome structures are achieved by filling the empty channels with the polydiacetylene liposome solution via capillary action. Atomic force microscopy (AFM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and fluorescence microscopy have been used to reveal the morphology of the patterned polydiacetylene liposome structures.-
