| dc.description.abstract | In this work, a new technique for fabricating the monodispersive silica particles containing high loaded organic functional groups is suggested. It is difficult to prepare highly monodispersive spherical silica particles having a diameter larger than 1 μm at room temperature. But, we were able to make silica particles with high monodispersity through one-step method. Particles were prepared using an organotrialkoxysilane in aqueous ammonia solution without any other additional reagents. Interestingly, particle size increases regularly when the concentration of oraganosilane increases and the reaction temperature decreases. | - |
