The dust problems are clearly connected with plasma technology such as microelectronic etching or sputtering processes. In this work, the influence of charged dust particles on the plasma surface waves that is propagating on the interface between a vacuum (or dielectric) and a plasma is investigated by employing Vlasov-Maxwell equations. The dust particles are assumed to be cold, but the plasmas are described by Lorentzian distribution function. The result shows that, in the long wavelength limit, both dust-acoustic (DA) and dust ion-acoustic (DIA) surface waves can be slowed by decreasing the spectral index which indicates the degree of nonthermality of plasma distribution. Some other interesting results are provided in this work.-
