dc.description.abstractWe describe herein a novel process toward 4-substituted 2-oxazolidinones, important chiral auxiliaries in asymmetric catalysis. Au(I)-catalyst efficiently cyclize N-Boc Propargyl amine leading to a variety of 2-oxazolidinones. This new protocol allows preparation of this important chiral auxiliary beyong nature`s chiral pool.-
