| dc.description.abstract | Planar chiral (arene)Cr(CO)3 complexes containing diol groups were prepared by directed ortho-lithiation, Gridnard addition, and chelate-controlled nucleophilic addition as key steps. Decomplexation of Cr(CO)3 moiety gave chiral , -dihydroxy-1,2-xylene having C2-symmetry element. The diols were further modified to chiral phosphoramidite ligand for asymmetric catalysis, such as Pd-catalyzed asymmetric hydrosilylation of olefins. | - |
