Actinomycosis is an infectious disease produced by an anaerobic, gram positive filamentous organism. It is characterized by formation of multiple abscess, draining sinuses, abundant granulation tissues, and by the appearance of sulfur granules in the discharge of involved tissue. "Sulfur granule" is characteristically found in the purulent discharge and their identification may be valuable aid in diagnosis. Actinomycosis usually differentiated into cervicofascial, thoracic, abdominal and other types of infection are in clinical surgery In the vast majority of cases of abdominal actinomycosis, the infection is secondary to perforative gastro-intestinal disesases, such as acute appendicitis colonic diverticulitis, peptic ulcer and acute ulcerative disease of the intestinal tract of trauma. We experienced 1 case of pancreatic actinomycosis in 55 year old male patient who has suffered with chronic pancreatitis due to alcohol. So we report it with brief review of literatures.-
