| dc.description.abstract | The mixed transition metal layered compound, Li[Ni1/3Co1/3Mn(1/3-x)]O2-yFy was synthesized via co-precipitation followed by a high-temperature heat treatment. X-Ray diffraction patterns revealed that this material has a typical layered structure with r3m space group. Spherical morphologies have been observed by scanning electron microscopy. Though the initial discharge capacities of F-doped materials is somewhat smaller, however, the capacity retention and thermal stability at highly oxidized state were significantly improved comparing to the undoped Li[Ni1/3Co1/3Mn1/3]O2. | - |
