dc.description.abstractDespite the unusual collapse of dotcom companies, entob.com has been survived and become one of the strong MRO e-market leader in Korea since the company was founded in 2001. In this case report, we reviewed the difficulties at the early stage of establishing business models, it’s vision, and strategic focus. The customer’s procurement process streamlining to offer both convenience and cost reduction has been the key to the success. Recent propagation of Desktop Purchasing (DP) system at KT and the user’s procurement process cost saving at POSCO are reputed as significant successes in Korea MRO e-market. Other managerial efforts such as group purchasing and copetion with IMK are also addressed.-
