Background: the purpose of this study was confirm in an in-vivo model the cardioprotective effect of [Dmt] DALDA. Method: Rat9n=6/group) underwent left anterior descending coronary artery ligation for 10 minutes followed by reperfusion for 30 minutes. Results: Time to recovery of LV function was shorter in DALDA group and morphine group than in control group( 4.4+/- 2.2, 6.0+/-2.5,10.5 +/- 2.2, p<0.05). Duration of reperfusion arrhythmia was shorter in DALDA and Morphine group than control group(2.8+/-1.7, 5.8+/- 3.9, 11.8+/- 2.0, p<0.05). Conclusion: [Dmt] DALDA provided a cardioprotective effect against myocardial ischemia and reperfusion in vivo.-
