The school-based sentinel surveillance system is simple, acceptable, sensitive, and timely, and a potential for continual expansion. The key for improving this system is close cooperation between the Ministry of Education and the National Institute of Health. The application area of this system can be expanded to various problems related to school health such as chronic diseases, injuries, and accidents. This system can provide original data to any researchers for school health related research by internet. Therefore, this system can be a superb tool for improving health in schools.-
