| dc.description.abstract | Iron oxide mateials were very attractive for the cathode materials for lithium secondary batteries, because these are very cheap, abudant, and nontoxocity. We have reported a good battery performance with orthorhombic LiFeO2 and LiFeO2-LixMnO2 systems synthesized by solid-state method. However, the cycle retention rate of LiFeO2-LixMnO2 system decreased on cycling, especially Mn dissolution in the electrolyte at the high temperature. In this study, we carried out the ZnO coating onto the particles to prevent Mn dissolution into electrolyte and examined the electrochemical characterization at high temperature (50oC). | - |
