| dc.description.abstract | Traditional diagnostic method of CJD is biopsy or autopsy. Also, positive CSF 14-3-3 protein and typical EEG finding suggest prion disease. Lately, detection of CJD is possible in early stages by using MRI. In recent study reveal that caudate nucleus with cortex involvement in Diffusion-Weighted-Images(DWI) were specific for CJD. Moreover DWI is prior to CSF study in sensitivity in some reports. | - |
