As a neutron source, the Dense Plasma Focus (DPF) device is investigated with pure deuterium gas. The stored energy and peak current are 4kJ (capacitance: 32μF and charging voltage: 16kV) and 183kA, respectively. The neutron yield dependence with deuterium filling pressure is measured with different anode length by means of bubble neutron dosimeter (BD-PND: Bubble Technology Industry). The averaged neutron distribution is also measured at the angle of 0°, 25°, 60°, and 90° from the anode axis. The maximum neutron fluence is estimated about 1×103 n/cm2·pulse at a distance of 30cm from the anode with filling pressure of ~3 Torr. The neutron angular distribution has a Gaussian function and the neutron anisotropic factor (N0/N90) is increased with pressure increase, from 1Torr (~2) to 3Torr (~5).-
