| dc.description.abstract | Field emission from carbon carbon nanotube emitter fabricated on the Ti deposited silicon substrate by spray method was investigated. Various carbon nanotubes such as single-walled carbon nanotubes, double-walled carbon nanotubes and multiwalled carbon nanotubes were uniformly distributed by spray method. In this work, the turn-on electric field was about 2.5 V/um and the current density of carbon nanotubes was about 5 - 7 mA/cm2 at the applied electric field of 5 - 6 V/um. the field emission follows Fowler-Nordheim behavior. We will also discuss detail emission properties from single- and double-walled carbon nanotubes | - |
