Atmospheric Dielectric Barrier Discharge (ADBD) is widely used in industrial applications, such as chemical and biological decontamination of air, cleaning of PCB and surface treatment of polymer. While, most of the research results are confined in geometry of parallel electrode with dielectric surface, a new type of DBD is proposed to extend applications of DBD. Ribbon-type plasma is characterized by electrical and emission spectroscopic method. Application to PCB cleaning will be addressed.-
