dc.description.abstractIn order to investigate the effective content of second phase Cu for enhanced fracture toughness and mechanical properties of Al2O3/Cu nanocomposite with variation of 1-5vol% Cu were studied. To obtain finely and homogenously dispersed Cu phase into an Al2O3 matrix ,hydrogen reduction of ball milled Al2O3 and CuO powder in mixture was composite powder,which is Al2O3 embedded by Cu particle that was formed by Archimedes" principle. Sintered specimens were analyzed by X-Ray Diffraction(XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscope(SEM)-
