| dc.description.abstract | In the analysis of 3 dimensional solid structure, the mesh generation is always the most time consuming task and sometimes it make the analysis impossible. The analysis method using voxel proposed by Kikuchi et. al. enables analysis of solid with complicated configuration quite easy. However, big disadvantage of voxel analysis method is the increase of the degree of freedom in the analysis. Authors introduced multi-scale voxel cover into manifold method and defined resolution for analysis and resolution for geometric definitionn separately, which makes relatively accurate analysis without increasing the computational cost too much. | - |
