dc.description.abstract | The magnetic properties of nanocrystalline Fe-Co powders were studied in this research. Nanostructured Fe-Co powders were synthesized by mechanical alloying of element powders. Development of microstructure during the process of MA was investigated by X-ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry, transmission electron microscopy, and scanning electron microscopy. The average crystallite sizes were measured from the line broading of XRD, and confirmed by TEM. In this experiment, magnetic properties of nanostructured Fe-Co powders were studied by vibration sample of magnetometer, measurment of magnetostriction. The grain size dependence of coercivity and permeability in nanocrystalline will be discussed. The results are compared with data of simply mixed powders. The effect of cobalt contents on the magnetic properties is also discussed. | - |
