dc.description.abstract | In this paper, we propose a time headway constant for lane change. We use two vehicles to experimentally derive time headway. Through the experimental data, we derive equations related to time headway. In order to derive this equation, we find the overtaking time through the vehicle"s chassis data and differential global positioning system (DGPS) data. After that,we derive the results related to time headway through ego vehicle speed, relative distance and relative speed. | - |
