The International Journal of Simulation Modelling (IJSIMM) provides a global forum for the publication of all forms ofsimulation modelling research work in academic institutions, inindustry or in consultancy. The journal publishes only regular issues.Regular issues are collections of papers submitted without specialinvitation directly to the Editor-in-Chief. Part of an issue on aspecific topic may be coordinated by a Guest Editor.
The editors of the IJSIMM are searching primarily for original,high-quality, truly insightful, theoretical and application-orientedresearch papers (based on practical experience, case study situationor experimental results) dealing with simulation modelling, mainlywithin discrete-event simulation field and mechanical or industrialengineering. In selected chapters of the paper (in the Introductionor in the Literature review or in the Conclusion) the authors shouldinclude simple descriptions with clear answers to some of thefollowing questions:
/// Where is the problem?
/// What is the original contribution of thepaper?
/// Why should this contribution beconsidered important?
/// What are the most closely relatedpublications by others?
/// How can other researchers make use ofthe results and findings of the paper?
/// Does the paper have the potential tomake an impact to practice?
/// Does the paper have the potential tomake an impact to practice?
