dc.description.abstract | The Ministry of Justice of Korea has been developing an intelligent legislation support system, iLaw System, since 2007. We apply Semantic Web and text mining technologies to the system for facilitating effective support of legislative activities preformed by legal experts and relevant parties to the legislation while targeting various information resources including legal information at home and abroad. From the perspective of UI, the system is meaningful in that it offers visualized and flexible services for various legal information which is continually appearing, changing, and developing in accordance with our ever-changing times and society. In this paper, we describe the strategy to improve UI in the system. First of all, we analyze user requests by focus group interview and the online survey for solving problems about convenience of users and define the refinement strategy in UX, contents, searching function, brand strategic, and brand satisfaction aspects. By the strategy mentioned above, we develop the intelligent legislation system supporting user request-based contents, high-quality search function, userspecific reservation service, and overseas services on legislation. In addition to, we will enhance user satisfaction continuously by periodical usability evaluation. © 2011 IEEE. | - |
