The purpose of this study was to analyze the dynamic characteristics of high-rising residential buildings installing tuned liquid damper(TLD). To control vibration of buildings, TLD was set at the top story of building. In this study, the results of analysis were firstly compared to the building with the TLD and without the TLD. Second, the results of instrumentation were introduced. From setting the TLD at the building, it is concluded that TLD can control the vibration of the buildings, and reduce the peak accelerations of the buildings and also improve resident's serviceability.-
