Abstract
Novel host materials based on carbazole/pyridine derivatives were designed and synthesized for green phosphorescent OLEDs. Among those, 9-(3-(isoquinolin-l-yl)phenyl)-9H-carbazole (Czpiq) showed the excellent properties for efficient green phosphorescent OLED as host material. A device using Czpiq host material with the green phosphorescence dopant (tphpy) 2Ir(acac) showed the external quantum and luminous efficiency of 9.57 % and 45.0 at 20 mA/cm2, respectively.
