Although the acquisition of learning and technology, and the collection of external information partly play a role in creative activities, there is an unconsciousness that works, unseen, in the background of the creative process. While it is true that the economic and cultural conditions are related to the creation of design, it may be said that a lot of external information that is unconsciously obtained from the cultural environment directly affects the quality of design. Accordingly, it is worth creating a fundamental environment that is necessary for design creation through social recognition of the formation and influence of unconsciousness. Unconsciousness is how any image or mental element, which appeared in consciousness, may appear again through remembrance without being changed after a specific time passes. Although it cannot be perceived, it exists in the mind. It is something that is unperceivable to consciousness. There is a pre-conscious sphere, where reminding is possible through remembrance or association, and an unconscious sphere which is not possible to control or access by one's will. Unconsciousness is hereditary and inherent. It cannot disappear through acquired experience. It is present outside the domain of consciousness, and is expressed as a distorted object or a substitute. The unconscious mind constantly intervenes in the course of creative activities, and acts as a creative energy. In creating design, functions of the mind such as attention, memory, association, and clue effect help connect consciousness with unconsciousness. The contents of unconsciousness mainly help to form a designer's character and the style of his/her works, while those of pre-consciousness influence the formative changes and help create other designs mainly for the association and clue effect. Now the effects of unconsciousness are revealed in the work of designers from around the world, and serve as an element that leads fashion.-
