dc.description.abstractA possibility of using (Mg1-xZnx)O compound as an electron emission layer for ac-PDPs was explored. The firing voltages and luminous efficiency indicated that those properties can be improved with the new material. This demonstrates that the reduction in band gap is very effective in inducing secondaty electron emission from Xe+.-
