한국어 2음절 단어의 시간 구조 -모음 간 장애음 유형에 따른 차이를 중심으로-

Abstract

This study investigates temporal structure of the bisyllabic words including singletons and geminates of Korean obstruents in intervocalic positions. Durations were measured of the subsegments of the words in the form of /pa(C)Ca/: [pa], closure, frication plus aspiration, and the following vowel. The results showed that there was a significant difference in the distribution of the duration of the subsegments across obstruent counts, phonation types, and manners of articulation. There was no significant difference in the temporal structure between the words including aspirated singletons and geminates in intervocalic positions. There was no significant difference in the temporal structure between the words including fortis singletons, lenis geminates, and fortis geminates in intervocalic positions, respectively.
