개방형 수장고의 운용 특성 및 공간구조에 관한 연구

Abstract

This study focused on the phenomenon of open storage and visible store in many museums at home and abroad, and investigated and analyzed a total of 105 related stores to grasp the changes and trends of open storage. This paper analyzes the relationship among accessibility to open storage, security, preservation, and visitor circulation and classifies the open storage format as follows : Open-Reservation. tour-type, storage exhibition type, study gallery type and complex type. In addition, as representative cases five museums were analyzed : Luvre-Lens, Darwin Center, Musee du quai Branly, Metropolitan Museum of Art, and Museum An de Stroom. As a result, there were significant differences in terms of conservation, security, accessibility, and relationship between major circulations in these museums. Therefore, it is judged that open storage should be organized based on the classification of these views.
