Abstract
The purpose of this thesis is to study a music aspect and thought background of the yeondung-hoe Ceremony on the Koryeosa. Aak(Chinese music of the royal court religious ceremonies), Dangak(Chinese music of royal court party ceremonies), and Hyangak(Korean popular music)had been performed at the yeondung-hoe Ceremony. Among them, Aak had been played for showing the strict manner at a place and impressive ornamentation of salutation in accordance with Yae-ak Sasang. Dangak and Hyangak also had been performed at a regular party of the palace. Dangak and Hyangak was thick Taoistic disposition. However there is no historical evidence what exact title of Dangak and Hyangak had been played at the regular party, we can say that three of Dangak, 'Dangak Jungjae' had been palyed at a concert as it had been represented Taoism very much. As I mentioned above, lots of Koryeo's music had been performed at yeondung-hoe Ceremony. By contents or thought, various of culture had been represented at yeondung-hoe Ceremony, like Confucianism ceremonies which was from Yae-ak Sasang, Taoism, Buddhism. Therefore, yeondung-hoe Ceremony was symbol as a national ceremony that had expressed diversity of Koryeo's culture.
