- Abstract
- In this paper, a PID fuzzy controller for output voltage regulation of a current-doubler-rectifled asymmetric half-bridge (CDRAHB) DC/DC converter is investigated. The controller is a PD-type fuzzy controller in parallel with a linear integral controller. The PD type fuzzy controller with the error and the change in error as inputs gives the proportional part of the duty at the different operating points to regulate the output voltage. The linear integral controller gives the Incremental part of the duty to remove the steady-state error of the output voltage. In order to prove the dynamic characteristics of the PID controller being fast and robust, simulation studies using PSIM program are carried out and compared to the results of the conventional loop gain design method for which MATLAB program is used. © 2007 IEEE.
