- Abstract
- The KOCED (Korea construction engineering development) collaboration was formed to provide a shared infrastructure for construction and civil engineering research and education facilities, which are distributed over different locations in Korea. The Internet-based grid system and various applications on KOCED enable remote users to perform experiments on several distributed facilities. KOCED has been working on hybrid simulations on this Internet-based grid systems. Hybrid simulation supports experiments on distributed components, which are software codes or physical devices. We describe how our mini-MOST hybrid simulation is implemented on the KOCED grid system, and we discuss techniques to improve the speed and efficiency of these hybrid experiments. © 2006 IEEE.
