- Abstract
- The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships between dysfunctional career thoughts and personality characters. In this study, the Career Thought Inventory, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, and Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory were used to measure dysfunctional career thoughts and personality characters, respectively. Participants for this study were 238(126 high school and 102 college) students. There wasn't significant difference in the dysfunctional career thoughts by personality type. Yet, there were some significant correlations among the dysfunctional career thoughts and psychopathological characters. Implications for career counseling are discussed.
