One of the common issues in planing of museum architecture is the remaining possibility for its expanse in the future. And it is a kind of unpredictable thing so that in many cases of museum, even though ensuring enough spaces it would be end up saturated or should be changed by social demands. Especially in the case of science museum, changing cycle of social demands is short and exhibition contents, collections and methods are variated so rapidly. This study aims to research the remodeling method and grope for the process of that in science museums. So, in this paper it deals with the National Science Museum of Korea as analytic object, using analysis space organization of facilities and survey curators' needs, visitors' movement and so on. In conclusion, the main directions of remodeling in the ‘National Science Museum of Korea’ are that deck or terrace would be set up in exhibition space in order to settle a shortage of floor space and newly major space would be constructed consider a matter in expansion-
