Abstract

The literatures or materials in a museum is the highest prerequisite to its existence. A full performance of a museum requires the collection of data as much as needed. But, kind and quantity of the literatures or materials vary according to scale of museum and a purpose. Establishment of a guide post of construction schedule - consideration in preservatory conditions of a categorization system and repository is able to the greatest research of the sphere of museum repository Based on this viewpoint, this study makes an attempt to approach the categorization of relics by material under any preservatory conditions, which has been less or little addressed than anything else, in the level of natural history and preservatory science. Furthermore, the study basically intends to identify the relationship with repository space.
