In this paper, various types of communication between the agents in the course of effective achievement of the goals of agent system are introduced. The requirements of intelligent communication are also elicited. It is shown that the successful realization of the goals require various forms of cooperation among the agents and communication plays the most important role in the process of cooperation. Based on the agent theory, we firstly provided the structure of agent programming suitable for the realization of agent system. Secondly, we specified the types of cooperation for the achievement of goals. Thirdly, we developed basic mechanisms necessary for the cooperation and designed a communication protocol as a conversation tool between agents. Finally, we conclude with current status of the research and raise future works.-
