Because there exist disadvantages of transmission capacity and distance constraints in AC transmission in medium and high voltage transmission, power transmission by HVDC (High voltage direct current) is actively used nowadays. Where, MMC(Modular Multilevel Converter) is widely used for voltage type HVDC. This paper describes a model applied to real-time simulation tool such as RT-Lab in order to test the control performance of offshore wind power system using HVDC with MMC.-
