dc.description.abstractThe effect of the external feedback on the relative intensity noise characteristics of 405 nm AlGaInN blue laser diode has been analyzed taking into account the spontaneous emission noise and the high frequency modulation of the injection current. The noise characteristics are modeled after the quantum Langevin noise formalism and the device parameters are extracted by numerical analysis of the multi-band Hamiltonian of the wurtzite multiple quantum well structures.-
