dc.description.abstract | Field algebras were defined by Bakalov and Kac as an associative analogue of vertex algebras. We define the notion of higher-order associativity for field algebras and construct examples to show that higher-order associativity imposes a strictly stronger condition on field algebras than lower-order associativity. | - |
