- Abstract
- Modern society is composed of various combinations of heterogeneous objects having complex characteristics. These characteristics are consistently changing along with the social changes of the times and the change of perception by human experience. In these changes, society is newly formed socially and culturally, and a multilateral approach is needed. With this approach, space and architecture are also constantly changing. In the sequential relation of time as a narrative character, objects are changing with interconnection through a continuous and dynamic relationship. Now the space is existing beyond the dimensional division, and it establishes a new material of different images with a sense of place. The objects that create the space make new forms through mutual relations in space according to such time and space. They finally build a space where people think with experience and sense, and thereby forming an organic material construct. In this study, I select, shape, and embody light among these objects. This study aims to discuss that light has topological presence in the expanding space, and construct a new space through interaction with various objects in the recognition and perception formed by people’s experience and memory.
