- Abstract
- The interest of Koreans in movies has been steadily increasing. In spite of interest in movie contents, public interest in independent films and the growth of the independent film industry are stagnant. This study proposes service based on a mobile and ultimately aims at forming a field of independent culture in which film producers and audiences can co - exist. We used UX methodology such as questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and stakeholder modeling to analyze and improve the problems faced by independent filmmakers and audiences. After that, we conducted mobile application prototyping and usability tests in stages to plan, design, and verify services that can solve the problems of the Korean independent film industry. As a result, it is expected that this study will establish the contact point between independent film and audience based on the understanding of the actual situation of the independent film industry in Korea, and will contribute to induce public interest and content diffusion of diversity culture.
