dc.description.abstractFollowing the recent drop in the birth rate, population over age 65 has sharply increased, and our society will turn into a super-aged society in 2030. The researches on the housing environment considering the unexpected situations for the elderly such as Alzheimer or sudden falling accidents are insufficient, so new technology needs to be implemented. Therefore, this research aims to suggest the integrated guidelines for the elderly housing which emphasize the ergonomic traits of elderly and utilize the context -awareness technology based on sensor as well. Through proposing the guidelines, this study expects tp shape up the structure of housing space that can handle the unexpected incidents particular for the elderly. Also, it would contribute bringing the improvement of quality of life of the elderly.-
