dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study is to show the application of building commissioning process for high-rise building in Korea. Building commissioning is an method to resolve operating problems, improve comfort, optimize energy use and identify retrofits for existing commercial and institutional buildings and central plant facilities. The case study building is a 68-story office and hotel with total floor area of 195,324 square meter. An energy audit was conducted to evaluate the indoor comfort and building energy performance. Specific building commissioning process were applied in the building. This study presents procedures, implementations and detailed descriptions of control sequence and operation comparisons for the terminal units and air handling units (AHUs), as well as the chilled water system. The study result shows 20% of energy cost saving.-
