Abstract
This paper proposed the tower-type photovoltaic power generation system with a vertical structure to reduce solar installation area. And, when the vertical photovoltaic power generation system was applied, we analyzed light-receiving efficiency, solar installation area and system generation capacity. We predicted solar power generation using the PVsyst 7.2 simulation program to present the validity of the vertical photovoltaic power generation system. Based on this, the savings effect on the installation area was analyzed compared to the horizontal photovoltaic power generation system of the same capacity. As a result, the vertical photovoltaic power generation system can greatly reduce the solar installation area of the photovoltaic power generation facility and increase solar power generation per installation area
